Where Blockify and BeSure are stronger
Both are established apps. Blockify has 316 reviews and BeSure has 190, and both carry Shopify's Built for Shopify badge, which Order Gate doesn't have yet. They also cover far more of checkout: Blockify hides, renames and reorders payment and shipping methods, adds COD fees and supports upsells on Shopify Plus. BeSure focuses on shipping and payment method control, adds discounts and can hide express checkout buttons. If you need those, Order Gate alone won't cover it.
Where Order Gate is stronger
Rule limits and price. Order Gate has one plan at $2.99 a month with every rule type and no cap on the number of rules. On Blockify, $9.99 gets you 3 validation rules and unlimited rules cost $29.99. BeSure's $4.99 plan allows 2 rules. A store blocking a list of fraud emails, several countries and PO boxes needs more rules than the entry plans of the others allow.
